Is Shacking Up, All It’s Cracked Up to Be?

Now, getting used to living together? It was more him getting used to the tornado also known as me. It takes both parties acknowledging they may operate differently in living spaces but to be aware of what the other will and won’t accept. I’m fine with jumping out of the day’s clothes and perhaps putting them on a hanger a few hours or days later. He wasn’t. That was an adjustment. He’s fine with sleeping with smelly socks on. I wasn’t. That was aquickadjustment. He’s workout obsessed and I sometimes need a kick in the arse. Perfect! We both will live off of tacos without batting an eyelash. Even more amazing! You see the pattern here? Compromise people! Do what works for you and your partner, not the world at large because that creates a very cramped living space. Three is most certainly a crowd. I’m still trying to figure out how to break that piece of info to the dog as I am horribly allergic. Another compromise.
